If I run no plug-ins whatsoever within the SD2 program and in Pro Tools I can keep the session running ok but when I add other tracks and plug-ins I have to force-quit the program. I thought m new rig would run this all with no sweat but it looks like this is not the case. Is my computer simply not fast enough to run this program? I am really bummed because I just spent a ton of money on my new laptop, the Pro Tools 8 upgrade and the Superior Drummer 2 program and it looks like I don't have enough headroom already.

Most of the time that I try to run EZ Player Pro and Superior Drummer 2 as Pro Tools plug-ins, Pro-Tools stops responding and I get the dreaded Mac "color wheel" and have to force-quit PT. I just put Superior Drummer 2 with EZ Player Pro on my computer. Hi, I am running Pro Tools 8.0.3cs2 on my new 2.53 GHz MacBook Pro with an Intel i5 processor running an MBox 2.
